Kitchen

Modern and stylish with everything you will need, this open plan kitchen is ideal for entertaining and good for those who love to cook but don’t want to miss out on the conversation! Fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, toaster and coffee making machine. Enjoy simple fresh flavours of locally grown produce and fantastic wine with your family and friends either in the house at the dining table or on the terrace which also has an eating area and gas barbeque.

Main Living Area

The main living area is light and airy with a vaulted ceiling. The Chestnut beams and exposed stone walls and fireplace add character and natural warmth to this charming retreat. Choose to relax on the sofa or on one of the reclining leather armchairs after your day exploring. As well as a selection of popular fiction we have provided books of local interest, with maps and guides to ensure you experience the best that this beautiful area has to offer. Alternatively settle down and listen to music or if you’re the competitive type try your luck with a traditional board game! A telephone line is installed for your use (for local calls only) and we have provided a list of emergency numbers and useful contacts.

Bedroom 1

A double bedroom, tastefully furnished and oozing character and charm, approached by an open staircase from the main living area. Step out through a shuttered door directly into the garden and enjoy the early morning sunshine.

Bathroom 1

Recently updated with a fresh and contemporary feel this tiled bathroom includes a toilet, wash basin and full size bath with shower. A skylight with remote controlled blind makes this a bright and sunny room in the daytime whilst at night you can admire the stars... which are amazing.

Bedroom 2

A comfortably furnished double bedroom with shuttered patio doors leading directly on to the garden enables you to wake each morning to breath taking scenery. Exposed stone wall and a tiled floor keep you cool as you drift off to sleep to the sound of the River Clamoux.

Additional sleeping accommodation (max 2)

Off the terrace this "cabin" style double bedroom will sleep two adults. Furnished in a rustic style, this quirky room with mezzanine double bed is basic but snug.

Swimming Pool

The private tiled swimming pool is the perfect place to cool down on those long hot summer days. Whilst at night underwater pool lighting makes relaxing on the terrace with a good local wine an experience to remember.

Garden

Le Cabanial nestles in a very special and secluded location within its own valley and breathtaking scenery. The winding driveway leads you down amongst the trees to the river Clamoux which flows gently through the garden. Planted with a mixture of wild and cultivated trees and shrubs the garden will enchant and surprise you. If you want to explore further, cross the river via the stepping stones and take one of several footpaths – your very own nature trails!
